I had a tooth out today. My first tooth extraction for 38 years and yes, I felt like I was 12 again., The dentist seemed to be 12 mind you. I felt like asking how many teeth she had pulled in her career, but didn't really want to know the answer.
The whole dentist thing blew a hole in my plan for the day - writing a "statement in support of application" for a job in a new organisation called Scotland Excel. I have another one to write tomorrow for a council job. I found a structure for the piece on 't web and am trying to write an effective piece that will get me the interview. Anyone out there who has tips on writing such things, please let me know
